Meridian Dance is the home of performance programming at the Meridian Gallery, a contemporary art space in Union Square, in the heart of San Francisco. The Meridian Gallery’s mission is to embody change – to assume a tangible responsibility to explore issues and make spaces where youth and adults could experientially access a widening of the possible.
Through Meridian Dance, we aim to facilitate new audiences for dance and art in the Bay Area; curate cutting-edge, innovative performance; facilitate cross-disciplinary conversations and collaborations; and foster experimentation through offering incubation space for local choreographers.
